On the mezuzah there is a Hebrew letter "SHIN". This is the first letter of "SHOMER DLATOT ISRAEL" or "Guardian of the Doors of Israel" - one of the names of God
Also it is written in Hebrew "VeKtavtam Al Mezuzot Beitecha VeShearicha" which means "Inscribe Them on Your Doorposts and Gates"
