The vivid, semi-tropical colors found in her works result in strikingly dramatic works of art that also exude the warmth and energy of the Holy Land.
Bracha Lavee was born in Poland in 1948 and arrived in Israel in 1957. She lived and studied in Tiberias, where even as a small child her artistic talents were apparent.
