Hoshen Pendant

The Hoshen pendant is inspired by the biblical High Priest’s breastplate described in Exodus 28:15–30:

• The Hoshen was made of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen, and set with twelve stones, each representing one of the twelve tribes of Israel.

• It was worn over the chest of the High Priest when performing sacred duties, and the Urim and Thummim were placed inside it for divine guidance.
