This unique handcrafted Armenian ceramic candle holder will make a unique and original gift. The handled holder is attached to a small plate, both of which have been hand painted with a traditional colorful flower motif.

Founded by Armenian pilgrims, Armenian Ceramics is a historical, family business based in the heart of Jerusalem. As one of Jerusalem’s oldest businesses, their inimitable style has brought bright, bold color to Israeli homes for decades. The company produces authentic Armenian ceramics, which are hand-painted with traditional designs.
Each individual item is hand made with ceramic clay. Once complete it is placed in an oven at temp. 1000 C until hardened. Each piece is then hand painted using metallic and oxidized paint in order to keep its natural color. Again it is returned to the oven at the same temperature and finished with fine glazing.
