This beautiful hand-woven Silk tallit set is from the Gabrieli in Jerusalem where they use only the highest quality pure silk. The set includes a silk tallit, Kippah, and a matching bag.

The silk prayer shawl has a ½ inch finished hem along the length. The ends are frayed and tied to form thirteen 5-inch tassels at each end. The corners are reinforced with 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch sewn and finished silk pieces with openings for the tzitzit. An intricate 17 ½ inch wide embellished area is 5 1/2” from each end of the Tallit. This decorative area includes stripes of silver intertwined with white silk. Subtle and unique.

The atarah (neckband) is a 2 1/2 inch wide white fabric sewn on the tallit. Embroidered in silver at each end of the atarah (neckband) is a 1 ½ inch crown, a 1 ½ inch wide Torah scroll bordered by two 1-inch wide Star of David. In Hebrew is the blessing, "Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us to wrap ourselves in Tzitzit."

The Kippah is white with silver threads and white silk woven together to form an intricate and unique design. The Kippah is lined in white.

The bag is 12 ½ inches wide and 11 inches deep with a flap opening and lined in white. The flap cover has a 4 ½ inch wide band with silver threads and white silk bands that match the tallit.
