Phoenician Glass Cup

This beautiful Phoenician glass cup features a mesmerizing combination of swirling colors, including shades of blue, green, and amber.  

Using a blowpipe, the glassmakers gather a portion of the molten glass and begin the delicate process of shaping the cup.  Simultaneously as they rotate and manipulate the glass, they add substances to the molten glass and the resulting reaction creates a range of swirled colors.  You will find these colors trapped between layers of glass. 

The cup is a one-of-a-kind piece that will add an elegant touch to any table.
