Perfumes and spices have been used since ancient times when they were stored in the kings' palaces with silver and gold.
Ein Gedi's Scents of the Bible are produced in the tradition of the perfumes made in biblical times. These perfumes are based on extracts of Myrrh, Frankincense, & Spikenard.
They come in unique bottles inspired by ancient perfume bottles unearthed at archaeological sites throughout the Holy Land.

Scents of the Bible
Frankincense: ‘In the Book of Exodus, it was an ingredient for sacred anointing oil (Ex 30:34);
Myrrh: is mentioned in (Exodus 30:23) as one of the ingredients of the “oil of holy ointment:” in (Esther 2:12) as one of the substances used in the purification of women; in (Psalms 45:8; Proverbs 7:17) .
Spikenard: was obtained as a luxury in ancient Egypt, the Near East, and Rome, where it was the main ingredient of the perfume nardinum. Nard is mentioned a number of times in the first five books of the Bible. It was used as one of the Eleven Herbs for the Incense in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. And it is mentioned in the biblical love poem, the Song of Solomon1:12 & 4:13.
