Travel Berkey Water Filter System - 1.5 Gallon

Enjoy Berkey® filtration at home or on the go with the compact Travel Berkey Water Filter System. Designed for approximately 1–3 people, this stainless steel gravity-fed filtration system holds up to 1.5 gallons of filtered water and is an excellent option for smaller households, apartments, RVs, camping, travel, and emergency preparedness.

The Travel Berkey works without electricity, plumbing, or water pressure. Simply fill the upper chamber with water from a treated freshwater source and allow gravity to move the water through the included Black Berkey Elements into the lower chamber for convenient dispensing through the spigot.

Black Berkey Elements

The Travel Berkey System comes standard with two Black Berkey Elements. Berkey states that these elements reduce a broad range of typical contaminants found in treated freshwater sources, including certain heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, VOCs, petroleum products, rust, silt, sediment, and more.

Berkey recommends replacing each Black Berkey Element after approximately 3,000 gallons of use, or approximately 6,000 gallons per set of two. Actual element life may vary depending on source-water quality.

*Maximum flow rate is calculated with the upper chamber filled to the top. Flow rate decreases as the water level in the upper chamber declines.
