This stunning sterling silver ring symbolizes the hoshen Mishpat, the High Priest's breastplate from the Bible. It is adorned with twelve crystals, each representing one of the twelve tribes of Israel.
The Hoshen Mishpat was the breastplate worn by the Jewish High Priest in the days of Jerusalem’s Holy Temple. There were twelve precious stones on the Hoshen, as mentioned in the Book of Exodus (28:15-30), representing the twelve tribes of Israel: Ruby, Garnet, Citrine, Blue Topaz, Topaz, Sapphire, Peridot, Onyx, Emerald, Diamond, Amethyst, Aquamarine.
