Hebrew For Beginners (with CD)

This book is an easy way of learning to read and pronounce Hebrew. It is ideal for self-study and can also be used in a classroom environment.  Students begin reading easy-to-pronounce syllables which are then joined together to form words and sentences. Many of the Hebrew words used have been loaned from English.

Throughout the book there are exercises and an answer key is included. At the back of the book are lists of over one thousand words of useful vocabulary. There is also a chapter on learning to write Hebrew.
