Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. This is a beautiful picture that was painted by the Apostle Paul in his epistle to the church in Rome. He wrote about branches that were cut off from the tree with some wild olive shoots being grafted in and the natural branches that will be grafted in again when the right time comes.   The Jewish Faith and Christianity are not in enmity, both need to be saved, both need to experience the resurrecting power of Jesus. Both are connected through Christ. The Law of the Hebrews and the Grace of the Christian Faith is beautifully connected to form the heart of God which was represented by the star of David.
