Arnica flowers and roots have been used for hundreds of years as an herbal medicine. The Arnica plant belongs to the complex family and originated in Europe and Western Asia.  Arnica oil contains antimicrobial properties and is composed of 50 percent fatty acids, including linolenic, palmitic, linoleic and myristic acids. The other 50 percent is a mixture of thymol, various ethers of thymol, thymohydroquinone dimethyl ether and phlorol isobutyrate.

Common uses for Arnica Gel:

• Muscle aches, spasms, pulled muscles or rheumatic pain .
• It relieves pain associated with sprains, bruises, and swelling caused by fractures.
• Insect bites - homeopathic treatment of Arnica helps in the treatment of insect bites.
