Techelet (Blue Fringes) for Tallit
Techelet (תכלת) təḵêleṯ, "blue", is a blue dye mentioned 49 times in the Old Testament. It was used in the clothing of the High Priest, the tapestries in the Tabernacle, and the tassels, Tzitzit (tsiˈtsit), affixed to the corners of one's four-cornered garment, such as the Tallit/prayer shawl (garment is worn during prayer, usually).
These prayer shawl tassels, called tzitzit in Hebrew, serve as a reminder of G-d’s commandments and are the only design requirement for a prayer shawl. According to the biblical commandment, a blue thread known as "techelet" is included in the tzitzit (Numbers 15:38).
Please note: The Techelet do not come tied. Comes with tying instructions.
