The Original Perfumes of the Bible – Spikenard, Myrrh & Frankincense Anointing Oil

These anointing oils are made in the Holy Land where Jesus walked and performed His miraculous works. Each oil is carefully crafted with ingredients that reflect Jesus' purpose on earth: the redemption of mankind from sin.

The first anointing oil is frankincense, which represents Jesus' birth. The wise men from the East brought this exotic fragrance to Him as a gift.

The second oil is myrrh, which represents Jesus' death. This oil was used to prepare Jesus' body for burial by Joseph of Arimathea.

The third oil in this set is spikenard, which represents Jesus' resurrection. Just before His crucifixion, Mary anointed Jesus' feet with spikenard.
