This beautiful sterling silver necklace is a representation of the hoshen Mishpat, the High Priest's breastplate as mentioned in the Bible.  It contains  twelve crystals: one for each of the twelve tribes of Israel. 

The Hoshen Mishpat was the breastplate worn by the Jewish High Priest in the days of Jerusalem’s Holy Temple. There were twelve precious stones on the Hoshen, as mentioned in the Book of Exodus (28:15-30), representing the twelve tribes of Israel: Ruby, Garnet, Citrine, Blue Topaz, Topaz, Sapphire, Peridot, Onyx, Emerald, Diamond, Amethyst, Aquamarine.
