The Eilat Stone is a beautiful blend of blues and greens which is caused by a mixture of several different secondary copper minerals. It is this natural process that causes each stone to possess its own unique fusion of color. Though named after Israel's southernmost city, it was originally discovered in King Solomon's copper mines, so the stone is often referred to as 'King Solomon Stone.
