For the Joy of the Lord is Your Strength Necklace
"For the joy of the Lord is your strength” Nehemiah 8:10. This beautiful necklace depicts an individual with raised hands reaching up for the joy of the Lord which is strength.
The original Hebrew for "joy" in Nehemiah 8:10 is "chedvah," meaning joy or gladness. Joy means to rejoice or to make glad. "Strength" is a Hebrew word meaning “a place or means of safety, protection refuge, or stronghold.”
There is a joy of divine origin-"The joy of the Lord" which springs from the Lord as its source. The joy of the Lord is a constant gladness and a cause to rejoice. It stems from an inner strengthening that comes from our relationship with Him.
